We have multiple Remote Area Nurse opportunities in stunning coastal locations! Act quickly and plan ahead to secure your ideal placement.
Key Responsibilities
Work in partnership with other health professionals to provide clinical and population health services to Indigenous residents of the region.
These services include:
- Triage assessments
- Emergency care
- Participating in an on-call roster to meet community emergency needs
- Primary Health Care, including Chronic Disease, ED, RHD, Men's Health, and Women's Health
- Delivering a high standard of clinical care to all Indigenous residents
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum of 1-year prior experience as a Remote Area Nurse
- Competent ED skills (triage and resuscitation)
- REC (or equivalent)
- MEC
- Immunisation Provider Certification
- Pharmacotherapeutics Certificate is desirable (or a RIPRN qualification) but not mandatory
- First on-call experience
