Job Description

Do you fancy a community-based mental health nursing contract in regional Western Australia? Look no further!

Base Rate: Up to $87.11/hour | Penalties: Up to $217.79/hour (public holiday) | Plus additional benefits | Duration: 12+ weeks

Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred, evidence-based nursing care, promoting positive health outcomes.
  • Take responsibility for clients' end-to-end case management - assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating their care alongside the clients and the wider multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support.
  • Coordinate care and support services.
  • Educate individuals and their families/support networks about mental health.
  • Engage in community outreach and awareness.
  • Advocate for individuals' needs within the healthcare system.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • A minimum of 2 years' recent mental health nursing experience within a community role.
  • Australian working rights (sponsorship options are not available for contract work).
  • Experience of working within the Australian healthcare system.
  • Post-graduate qualifications highly desirable, and will equate to additional pay.
