Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated General Practitioner (GP) with skills in Emergency Department (ED) care to join our team at Moree Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in both general practice and emergency medicine, with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a rural setting. You will be working in a supportive environment with access to state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in both the general practice and emergency department settings.
  • Perform diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans for a wide range of health conditions.
  • Administer emergency care and stabilization for acute medical cases.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Participate in hospital and community health initiatives.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training.

Qualifications:

  • MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or equivalent.
  • Advanced skills in emergency medicine.
  • Experience working in rural or regional healthcare settings is preferred.
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge in general practice and emergency care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
