Pay: $2000 per day

Cobar is a small rural health service with a built capacity of 10 acute/subacute beds.

Services provided include:

24 hour emergency care

Acute and subacute inpatient services including rehabilitation, respite and palliative care

Outpatient services

A range of primary and community health care services

Renal Dialysis

Community Health - wound management, medication delivery, hospital in the home, chronic disease case management and palliative care.

Child and family health – immunisation, child health checks, referral resource

Specialist medical and Allied Health services visit as part of an outreach service from Dubbo and Orange.

Cobar is situated in the centre of New South Wales at the crossroads of the Barrier Highway and the Kidman Way. The Cobar Shire comprises of an area of 45,609 square kilometres and is approximately two-thirds the size of Tasmania. It is home to approximately 4,647 people. The Shire's prosperity is built around the thriving mining of copper, lead, silver, zinc, gold and pastoral industries.
