2. About the Role:
• As a General Practitioner Visiting Medical Officer (GPVMO), you will cover a busy Emergency Department (ED) and manage 12 ward beds.
• Your responsibilities include triaging patients (including those classified as 1’s, 2’s, and some 3’s), signing off outstanding pathology results, and collaborating closely with other team members.
• Reporting directly to the ED, you’ll play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients.
3. Duties:
• Triage patients efficiently and effectively.
• Manage 12 ward beds and ensure smooth patient flow.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional care.
4. Skills & Experience:
• Medical degree and current registration as a General Practitioner.
• Experience in emergency medicine (avoid specifying minimum years).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
