About the Role

• As a Career Medical Officer - Psychiatry, you will be responsible for providing inpatient psychiatric care to patients in the South region.
• You will manage the Mental Health Inpatient Unit and work closely with the Clinical Director - Adult Mental Health Services.
• Your work pattern will be four nights per week from 10:30 pm to 8:30 am. On-call may be required.

Duties

• Provide inpatient psychiatric care to patients in the South region.
• Manage the Mental Health Inpatient Unit and work closely with the Clinical Director - Adult Mental Health Services.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.

Skills & Experience

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated experience in providing inpatient psychiatric care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
