About the Company:
We are a leader and innovator in the field of mental health services, serving the Greater Hobart area. Our comprehensive suite of services spans mental health, alcohol and drugs, forensic mental health, and correctional primary health. As part of the Statewide Mental Health Services, we collaborate with partners such as the Acute Care Team, Police, Ambulance, and Clinician Early Response (PACER). Recently, we established the Tasmanian Centre for Mental Health Service Innovation, co-directed by Professor David Castle and Professor Brett McDermott, dedicated to enhancing mental health offerings across Tasmania.
About the Role:
As a Career Medical Officer – Community Care Stream, you will work full-time, delivering high-quality mental health care. Your responsibilities include on-call duties, supervision by the Clinical Director and Team Leader, and contributing to our multidisciplinary approach.
Duties:
- Provide clinical care within the community.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to policy and advocacy.
Skills & Experience:
- Medical degree and relevant experience.
- Passion for mental health care.
- Strong communication skills.
