Job Summary

You will be delivering high-quality care in Mackay on a casual basis (agency) in a nursing home facility. You will also be providing support to both registered and enrolled nurses. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work within a rapid response team environment and make a real difference.

• AM/PM, Nights, Weekend shifts available
• Opt into hot list for short notice shifts

About the role

• Provide basic personal care while assisting with clinical care
• Assisting residents with mobility equipment, helping with food and fluids, maximising a resident's physical function through rehabilitation and maintaining domestic aged care arrangements
• Observe residents around any health or behavioral changes and document and report the changes.

Requirements

• At least your 2 dose of a COVID vaccination and 1st booster 
• This year’s flu vaccine
• AHPRA Registration
• Relevant qualifications for your position (Bachelors for RN, Diploma for EN)
• National Police Check
