  • Our team offers a spectrum of services, catering to both inpatient and outpatient needs, extending support across the entire cancer continuum—from diagnosis through treatment, end-of-life care, and survivorship.
  • We extend our expertise beyond direct care, offering secondary consultation and treatment planning in multidisciplinary teams, and we are committed to shaping the future of the psychosocial oncology workforce by offering a number of training opportunities to psychiatric registrars, junior medical officers, and psychology registrars and interns.

About the Role

  • We are seeking a part-time Locum Psychiatrist to join our team from 22 January 2023 for a 3-4 month period.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing mental health services to people with cancer and their families, including both inpatients and outpatients, as well as primary and secondary consultation.
  • The role is split into the following sessions:
    • Monday – 0830-1700
    • Tuesday – 0900-1500
    • Wednesday – 0830-1700
    • Friday – 0830-1600.

Duties

  • Provide mental health services to people with cancer and their families, including both inpatients and outpatients, as well as primary and secondary consultation.

Skills & Experience

  • The ideal candidate should have experience in psychiatry.
  • They should have excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a team.
  • They should have a passion for mental health and be able to work under pressure.
