About the role 

We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Adult Inpatient Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients, providing clinical leadership to the team, and ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained. Reporting to the Clinical Director, the role will involve working closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team.

Duties

• Assessing and diagnosing patients with mental health disorders
• Developing and implementing treatment plans
• Providing clinical supervision to junior medical staff

Skills & experience

• Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
