About the role

We are looking for an experienced psychiatrist to join our Older Persons’ Mental Health Service (POWH) team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and treating patients with mental health conditions such as dementia, depression, and anxiety. You will also be required to provide clinical leadership to junior medical staff and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Duties

• Assessing and diagnosing patients with mental health conditions
• Developing and implementing treatment plans
• Providing clinical leadership to junior medical staff
• Dates: 20/11/23 to 18/12/23

Skills & experience

• A degree in medicine from a recognized institution
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in psychiatry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
