About the role:

• As a VMO, you will be responsible for providing psychiatric care to patients in the rehabilitation program who are in independent living arrangements on site (self-contained cottages).
• You will lead the multidisciplinary team to provide recovery-focused rehabilitation services for patients with enduring and severe mental illness.

Duties:

• Provide psychiatric care to patients in the rehabilitation program who are in independent living arrangements on site (self-contained cottages).
• Lead the multidisciplinary team to provide recovery-focused rehabilitation services for patients with enduring and severe mental illness.

Skills & experience:

• Must have a degree in psychiatry.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience working as a psychiatrist.
• Must be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
